This is an awesome gym! I have been going here for about a month now. All the coaches have been very welcoming and helpful. I was nervous to start Crossfit but I am glad I did! I first walked through the door of CrossFit Flood two years ago. I was middle aged, overweight, super stressed, and tired all the time. Coach Mike and Coach Brian were welcoming and informative. I immediately bought into the philosophy of CrossFit and I was excited to get started. Of course I had to scale almost every workout but I didn’t care. I started to make slow but steady progress and occasionally I can do a workout as prescribed (RX)! Everyone at CrossFit Flood is so nice and I am actually having fun exercising! Here I am, two years later, at 50 years old, and I have never felt better in my whole life. This past year I signed up for the CrossFit Open, competed in three USAW weightlifting competitions and the Rumble in Paradise, an invitational CrossFit Competition in San Diego.
Since joining Crossfit Flood I have lost fat and gained muscle, but more importantly I have gained CONFIDENCE. My body and strength has changed more drastically in one year by coming to this gym than in 5 years of going to 24 Fitness and doing the same workout every other day.
