CrossFit Kids provides a fitness program that is safe, fun and energetic for kids ages 5 – 13
My husband and I joined CrossFit Flood in February 2012. I couldn’t even do a full (air) squat that first intro class, but I knew I wanted to come back for more. The trainers were so encouraging and all those “crazy CrossFitters” were actually down to earth and just as encouraging as the trainers. I felt instantly supported and never once has someone rolled their eyes or chuckled at me when I have to scale my workouts. We cheer each other on to do our best and help each off the floor after a tough WOD. I was never a “strong” girl, but I know I am stronger now than I have ever been. And yes, even the girl that couldn’t do a squat, can now squat 100lbs!
Since joining CrossFit, I’ve reached a level of fitness I didn’t know I had in me, and I’m NEVER bored. Although I’m not a competitive person, the group atmosphere still motivates me, because I’m with people I respect and enjoy. The encouragement and camaraderie of CrossFit Flood and the CrossFit community as a whole are amazing. I’ll never go back to a traditional gym!
I’ve been coming here for almost 4 months now. The trainers that I’ve met (Mike & Ahri) are great! Both very motivational and knowledgeable. I was just looking to get back in shape, but found much more! It’s definitely challenging, but much more rewarding. Even the people in the classes are great! I can’t say enough about this place! I’ve made a lot of progress with a lot more to go and I won’t be stopping any time soon. Thanks to everyone here that has, and continues to help me be better!
