CrossFit Kids provides a fitness program that is safe, fun and energetic for kids ages 5 – 13
Before I joined CrossFit Flood in the summer of 2012, I was a member of 24 Hour Fitness. All I cared about was lifting weights and getting bigger. When I first started CrossFit, I was afraid of getting weaker since many of the workouts are so cardio heavy. Not only did I get stronger, I also increased my cardiovascular endurance substantially.
Since joining Crossfit Flood I have lost fat and gained muscle, but more importantly I have gained CONFIDENCE. My body and strength has changed more drastically in one year by coming to this gym than in 5 years of going to 24 Fitness and doing the same workout every other day.
The Coaches and owners are very good people who really stress the importance of proper form over how much weight you can lift. Over time you will be doing more than you ever though possible pushing yourself to reach the next level. My favorite part of this gym is the sense of community and great friendships. With lots of events(Flood, Sweat, Beers) it is easy to feel part of a team every time you go. It doesn’t matter if you are a Beast in the gym or have never lifted anything in your life I have never felt judged or put down here. This is a great gym and more than that an amazing community.
